Mark & Lane 

There have been countless moments of joy and laughter in our lives as a couple. Choosing one blissful memory in favor of another to share with you is an arduous and heartfelt task. The best place to start would be the beginning. The beginning of two individuals finding their soulmate.

It was serendipity that we met in a college World Literature class, quickly bonding over interpretations of foreign poems, collaborating in group projects, and riffing an educational knockoff television program. Oblivious to the action, Lane asked Mark for a date to the Fright Dome Halloween Theme Park. It was a night full of riding rides, eating carnival food, and running through haunted houses. Most of the fun was just sitting on the veranda outside talking about ourselves. As we said goodnight that evening, both of us felt a blossoming of true love.

A small amount of time later, Mark welcomed Lane into his group of friends. We enjoyed many wonderful evenings playing cards, going camping, and even sharing a home together as roommates. Years of school and work filled our lives, and as our love grew each day, an opportunity arose to leave and start a new adventure in a different state. 

​

Despite the heartache we feel leaving our loved ones behind, it is because of our unyielding support for each other that we have the foundation for building success. Our prudence and frugality over many years have rewarded us with the purchase of our first home. Through trust and tenacity, our harmonious values have led to the achievement of every goal set so far.

It is in honor of our love and devotion to each other that we request the pleasure of your company to celebrate this start to the rest of our lives as husband and wife. Join us on the day which happens to be the 13th anniversary of our first date. We will declare our commitment to each other and embark on the lifelong journey of traveling, growing in business, raising a family, and enjoying all of our days together.
